Through our collective action, advocacy, and collaboration with unions, we champion the value of our work and foster a stronger, more equitable academic community for all.

Mission Statement

The Universities of Maine Professional Staff Association (UMPSA) is a union representing salaried employees. We work to improve the professional welfare of our members by championing better salaries, benefits, and working conditions, protecting and strengthening our collective bargaining agreement, and providing education and advocacy to attract and retain highly qualified academic professionals within the University of Maine System.
