How to Use the Prescription Drug Cost Lookup Tool
To ensure you’re paying the lowest price for your medications, utilize the lookup tool on the CapitalRX (our Pharmacy Benefit Manager) website:
- Log In: Visit cap-rx.com and register or log in.
- Search: Select “Care Search” and then “Find Best Price.”
- Enter Prescription Data: You will need the specific drug name, dosage, quantity, and days supply.
- Compare Prices: After submitting, you’ll see a list of nearby pharmacies and the estimated out-of-pocket cost at each location.
Money-Saving Tip: Often the most cost-effective option is Costco Mail Order. Note that you do not need a Costco membership to use their Pharmacy or Mail Order services.
